Pearl woke up with a sore throat. The pollution/cigarette smoke is terrible. It's effecting me too. Pearl decided she couldn't go out so Dakota and I ventured out without her and Sam.

We learned how to cross a street with four separate cross walks and run to the little pedestrian islands for safety. The sirens are deafening and motorcycles fly by. We were lucky to find a hair salon and got Dakota a princess braid.

It's a short walk to the Eiffle tower, we got some churros and chocolate sauce. The wind was blowing on the river and we still didn't find fresh air.

We bought Pearl a blue beret and wished she was with us. Then Sam called and said they were coming to meet us!

We found a pedestrian only street lined with chocolate shops and all my Parisian dreams came true in that moment. I had both my daughters with me and nothing but chocolate up ahead.

We ate something small at every chocolate shop we found.

On the hunt for Dakota's Eiffle tower earrings we found two locally owned shops and The girls picked out small silk scarves. Pearl also found a floral dress on the clearance rack! She'd been hoping to find something for her wardrobe in Paris.

Sam wandered into a super stinky cheese shop and came out with things only he is brave enough to eat.

He and Dakota ran back to the Eiffle tower to find her earrings and she was right underneath it when it started to sparkle.
