We made it! The overnight flight was "super fancy" said Pearl and Dakota and still no one slept more than two hours.

Jetlagged we took the Heathrow express to Paddington station, met Paddington bear which warmed my heart and made no sense to the kids but they played along.

We walked about a mile through Hyde Park, a scene from a storybook. Pearl and I tried to name all the languages we heard but could not. When our packs got too heavy for the remaining half mile Sam hailed us the most charming taxi I've ever seen and they delivered us down a cobblestone street to our doorstep.
